Parkes Interiors were awarded Top Kitchen Design Award 2018/19 at the recent Irelands Kitchen Trade Awards held at Titanic Belfast. What a night!
This is the seventh award that they have picked up from these prestigious awards, and to be recognised at this level in the whole of Ireland is a huge honour. Brian said “To have won Top Kitchen Design award is a great testimony to the passion and hard work that goes into every design that we do. We pride ourselves in pushing the boundaries to create a truly bespoke tailored design that provides seamless integration throughout our clients homes”.

This kitchen provides a professional and very dramatic solution to the problem of how to integrate a contemporary kitchen into a classical house. The curved semi-circular island forms a practical centre piece to the kitchen. The curved worktop is cleverly designed with a lower section to set the inevitable “stuff” on with a higher level seating area for casual dining. Storage is included in 2 tall banks of units – a dark, flush door bank of units set in a light surround and the other shaker classical bank of units to include coffee dock etc. The island has shaker panels on the contemporary form. Sounds like a bit of a mix up but it sits beautifully in the large kitchen space and blends with the architecture.
